How Some Women Use Acupuncture As Fertility Treatment

Each year millions of people seek help from a variety of different therapies to help combat fertility issues that they are experiencing. Some acupuncturist claim that almost 70% of the patients they treat come in for fertility related issues.

Acupuncture works under the theory that there are hundreds of points on the body that are connected by energy channels called meridians. Under the acupuncture theory it is believed that an individuals health and well being is dependent upon the smooth flow of energy through these channels.

The practice of using acupuncture for fertility issues has become very popular. In fact many acupuncturist specialize in the treatment of infertility. These acupuncturist are quite popular and have clients who both are and aren’t receiving additional medical therapies.
