Do insurance plans cover infertility treatments?

Whether or not your insurance company covers infertility treatments depends on where you live and what type of insurance you have. Currently fourteen states have laws that require insurance companies to cover some infertility treatment and diagnosis. Those states are Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, New york, Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas and West Virginia.
