Although we have been extremely happy with the physicians, we have been very dissatisfied with the whole process! The 3rd party coordinator there should not be in the position she is because she is absolutely incapable to coordination. She has forgotten to tell us we needed to go to appointments, refill prescriptions and get tests done multiple times. When we do find out at the last minute either there is no order or somehow she has not taken care of what she needed to and then we have to do the leg work. Our whole journey has been filled with MAJOR frustrations and every time we turn around it seems that she has dropped another ball. If we had not been paying attention to every detail she would have even delayed our treatment several months because she tells us one thing then calls a few days later and says something else followed by "I never said that". Nothing is ever her fault, somehow she always manages to blame it on us as if we are not paying attention. She has lied to our faces and when she gets called out on it she stutters and tries to back out. If we would have known what we were getting into we would have gone to Oregon Reproductive Medicine as they have several good reviews. It is really sad that the physicians there are so good, but the on that is supposed to be doing the coordination makes it a horrible experience. I understand that she does this every day, but we do not. I would advise everyone who is looking at OHSU to go elsewhere if you are going to have to use a 3rd party coordinator. If you do not have to use the 3rd party coordinator, the physicians are fantastic! They have excellent bedside manner, are willing to answer any and all questions in a way that does not make you feel like you are wasting their time. They have been very realistic, but also very optimistic along the way.
